Samsung tips early launch to out compete iPhone 7

New product page confirms the next Note

Samsung may take the lead in terms of effectively competing against Apple as it announces an earlier release of its next Galaxy Note.

Rumours suggest that as Samsung moved away from its original strategy last year by releasing its Note 5 in advance, the South Korean firm may also do something innovative in order to compete against iPhone.

It is naturally presumed that the next release of the Note will be Note 6; however Samsung is playing around with the idea of calling their new potential leading product as ‘Note 7’. It has been leaked that the potential launch date for the Note 7 would be on August 2nd 2016.

The product page for what could be the next Note has already being listed for ‘SM-N920F’, according to various reports.

Some of the rumoured features behind the Note 7 are that the phone is expected have a 5.8-inch screen with QHD display and the phone will have the edge screen on both sides. It is also expected to introduce a new form of sensor that could eliminate the need for fingerprint sensor. The new sensors will have enough power to act as an IRIS scanner. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 823 chipset and 6GB of RAM.

The camera will have a dual pixel technology just like the Galaxy S6 has so it will relatively remain the same. They may also try to integrate dual cameras into the new Note. The dual camera was first introduced by HTC10 which was followed by LG with its G5 and Huawei into the P9.

Apple has similar planes with its 2017 new iPhone, however Samsung will be taking the lead on this one as these features will be introduced first on the Note 7 and eventually next year onto the Galaxy S7.
